What?
Seitei has its roots in Japanese and Chinese medicine and aims to bring the body into balance and restore energy levels, stimulating the natural healing system. The treatment consists of manipulation along the meridians or tsubo points, diagnosis and adjustment of the spine as it relates to the meridians, as well as advice on nutrition.
How?
The manipulation of the tsubo points is like a short plucking movement. Problems with the spine are diagnosed through muscle testing by putting pressure on an upheld arm while the practitioner touches parts of the spine. If there is strong resistance there is no problem but if it cannot resist the pressure it indicates that it needs to be adjusted through manipulation.
